You know how to ship. You've taken products from concept to launch. You can assemble a team, manage a budget, make hard calls, and deliver on deadline. At Emergent, Producers are the linchpin — the ones who turn a greenlit vision into a live product.
This isn't a CEO role with fundraising anxiety. The funding is already secured. Your job is execution: scope the work, hire the builders, manage the timeline, and ship something users love.
What Producers Do
- Own the Delivery — You're accountable for shipping the MVP and beyond
- Assemble the Team — Pull from our Builder pool or bring your own people
- Manage the Budget — You have a fixed budget; make it work
- Make Product Calls — Scope, priorities, trade-offs — you decide
- Report Progress — Regular updates to the Studio
What We Look For
- Track Record — You've shipped products before (doesn't have to be at scale)
- Technical Fluency — You don't need to code, but you need to speak the language
- Leadership — People want to work with you
- Judgment — You know when to push and when to cut scope
- Availability — This requires real commitment (part-time doesn't work)
What to Include in Your Application
- Your Background — Resume or LinkedIn is fine
- Products You've Shipped — What did you build? What was your role?
- A Case Study — Walk us through one project: challenges, decisions, outcome
- Why Emergent — What draws you to this model?
- Availability & Location — When could you start? Where are you based?

- Producer Fee — Competitive compensation for the production run
- Success Bonus — Tied to product launch and early traction
- Profit Share — Ongoing stake in the product's success
- Portfolio Building — Each production adds to your producing credits
